Tissues in the body are prone to disease of all sorts, including cancer, if they become deficient in oxygen. To understand why, it is helpful to understand the nature of acidity and alkalinity. Cancerous tissues are acidic, whereas healthy tissues are alkaline. Water (H2O) taken into the body eventually breaks down into H+ and OH-. When a solution contains more H+ than OH- then it is acidic. When it contains more OH- than H+ then it is alkaline. When oxygen is introduced into an acidic solution it will combine with H+ ions to form water. Oxygen helps neutralize acid, however, at the same time acid prevents oxygen from reaching the body’s tissue. Tissue needs oxygen to remain healthy. Acidic tissue is devoid of free oxygen. The pH scale ranges from 0 to 14, with 7 being neutral. Below 7 is acidic and above 7 is alkaline. The blood, lymph and cerebral spinal fluid in the human body are designed to be slightly alkaline at 7.4. At a pH slightly above 7.4, cancer cells become dormant and at pH 8.5 cancer cells will die while healthy cells will live. This has given rise to a variety of treatments based on increasing the alkalinity of the tissues such as vegetarian diet, the drinking of fresh vegetable juices (carrot juice is the very best), and dietary supplementation with alkaline minerals such as Calcium, Potassium, Magnesium, Molybdenum and Body Alkalizer. Other waters which are suggested for use against cancer are Germanium, Platinum, Selenium, Copper, Sulfur, Manganese, Zinc, Silver, and Agape Living Water. Research indicates that cancerous cells grow slowly in a highly acid environment (because the acids cause it to partially destroy itself) and may actually grow more quickly as your body becomes more alkaline prior to reaching the healthy pH slightly above 7.4 where the cancer becomes dormant. Therefore, you will want to get your pH above 7.4 as quickly as possible by every means available. Once you have achieved a pH above 7.4, it is useful to monitor your saliva pH regularly to ensure that your body remains sufficiently alkaline. In Fact, most diseases form when the pH falls into the acidic range. To remove excess acidity from your body’s tissues it is necessary to build up a reserve of alkalinity through an alkaline (mostly vegetarian) diet, supplemented with fresh vegetable juices and alkaline minerals as described above. Exercise, massage, manual lymph drainage, etc. will help move the alkalinity throughout the entire body more quickly. Vigorous exercises, such as the rebound mini-trampoline, are reported to increase lymph flow by 15 to 30 times. A Healthy Diet Means Eating Foods That Fight Cancer! The following list indicates which foods are acidic and alkaline. The Left side of the chart indicates acidic foods, or foods that are more harmful. The right side of the chart indicates alkaline foods, or foods that would be most beneficial. It is important to understand that we are not talking about stomach acid or the pH of the stomach. We are talking about the pH of the body's fluids and tissues, which is an entirely different matter.
The right side of this chart indicates those things which would be most beneficial. In the case of yeast/candida - also no sugar of any kind, honey, syrup, or any artificial sweetener. Stevia is permissible. Avoid those things on the left side of the chart (acid). Test Your Body's pH Level with our pH Test Kits.
