Suggested Foods:
Fresh Fish from the meat counter at your local store.
Fresh chicken with nothing added to preserve
Fresh turkey that pulls apart in strings like real meat
All fresh seafood from the meat counter of your local store, including: Salmon, Tuna
Fresh Lamb
Fresh Veal
Steamed vegetables including: Broccoli, Cabbage, Kale, Green Beans, Egg Plant, Asparagus
Lots of Romaine Lettuce, Leaf Lettuce (Iceberg has no nutrients)
Onions,
garlic, sautéed in a little butter or safflower oil or baked with vegetables.
All vegetables are fine (except potatoes and corn, carbohydrates feed Candida)
Farm fresh eggs,
Food Ideas
High Nutrient Filling Meal Drink: Goat Milk 4 oz, water 1oz, Scooper of pure Whey Protein, Heaping tablespoon of Healthy Green Mix, 1/2 small banana - 30 seconds in a blender and you have a filling, high nutrient breakfast drink with only a small amount of fruit sugar. This is a lot less sugar than 99% of the boxed cereals on your grocer's shelf.
Vegetable Omelet: Use real butter if you’re going to use any butter or olive oil, eggs, broccoli, squash, and onions
Salmon baked with a little butter and lemon on top
Any meat baked with lots of garlic cloves wedged into it.
Chicken grilled with lots of onions and cabbage. Top it off with almond cheese.
Seasonings: Extra Virgin-Cold Pressed Olive oil, garlic - Lots of garlic (roast it, bake it, have fun with it), lemon juice from real lemon, onions - Lots of onions, sautéed vegetables with eggs, or a vegetable
· Almond Cheese - grated on top of turkey chili, used in salads, and snacks
· Vegetable Soup - add some chicken, broccoli, celery, and onions - warming and good!
· Salads seasoned with safflower oil and a little fresh lemon juice.
· Gazpacho, tomato-based fish chowder
· Chicken or lamb stew.
· Vegetable sticks with guacamole dip (avocado, fresh tomatoes, onions, lemon juice and a little salt
· Cashew butter spread on celery
· Some almonds
Shop in
the veggie and fresh meat sections of the grocery store. Your shopping trip will
take 10 minutes or less. This is a general list that I would suggest. For
drinking: Drink lots of Water and only water, if possible. In general: Eat:
green, yellow, or red vegetables. Focus on eating for health, not
entertainment, until you are feeling good.
Because of advertising in America and the high sugar, high fat American diet,
many of the following foods may have become staples in your home but they will
feed Candida so it's time to part from old ways that made us sick. Stay away
from Boxed and Packaged Foods!
Foods to Avoid:
· Sugar in all forms (some honey is OK), pure maple syrup (except occasional whole fresh fruit like an apple or banana)
· Fungus, molds, and yeast in all forms, including some vitamins and minerals.
· Most B vitamins (unless label states yeast free).
· Most breads and commercial baked goods - We're killing Candida so Don't eat more of it!
· All alcoholic beverages - One glass of wine or beer will feed a boat load of Candida.
· Pasta - Don't feed Candida with Carbohydrates
· Mushrooms = fungus
· Vinegar and all foods containing vinegar, including Balsamic salad dressing, sauerkraut, green olives, pickled vegetables, and relishes.
· Crackers
· Dry roasted nuts—Often have mold on them
· Potato chips - Don't feed the Candida with Carbohydrates!
· Most commercial soups - they have flavoring = MSG = made from mold
· Carbonated Drinks - Changes the perfect balance of the body you are working to create
· White flour.
· Hot-dogs -Read the ingredients if you have a question as to why!
· Luncheon Meats -Read the ingredients if you have a question as to why!
· Bacon and other pork, which often contain molds and parasites
· Fruit juices, high in fructose (fruit sugar). Eat fruits whole and raw.
· Coffee - with or without caffeine -one cup greatly alters acid levels in the body
· Crystal Light - your body needs lots of water while healing
· Teas - Essiac heals the body. Choose water or Essiac Herbal Tea from Nutrition 2000 to pull fungus from the body.
· Fast Food - It's like fasting because they have few nutrients
Reduce the following:
· Wheat, oats, rye and barley, which contain gluten and can feed Candida.
· Dried meat and smoked meat, fish or poultry, including sausage, Smoked turkey, and smoked salmon.
· Nuts
and seeds, which may contain mold- almonds and cashews are o.k.
