EPHESIAN PRAYERS: Pray these for yourself (speak them out-loud) every day
and watch them start to manifest in your life. (Eph 3:14) For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of my Lord Jesus Christ, Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named. That he would grant me, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in my inner man; That Christ my dwell in my heart by faith; that I, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that I might be filled with all the fullness of God. Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that I ask or think, according to the power that worketh in me, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. AMEN
THE LOVE CHAPTER LOVE Pray this one using "I" in place of love. You will then start to measure up to the love of God in you. Love endures long and is patient and kind: love never is envious nor boils over with jealousy; is not boastful or vainglorious, does not display itself haughtily. It is not conceited - arrogant and inflated with pride; it is not rude (unmannerly), and does not act becomingly. Love [God's love in us] does not insist on its own rights or its own way, for it is not self-seeking; it is not touchy or fretful or resentful; it takes no account of the evil done to it - pays no attention to a suffered wrong. It does not rejoice at injustice and unrighteousness, but rejoices when right and truth prevail. Love bears up under anything and everything that comes, is ever ready to believe the best of every person, its hopes are fadeless under all circumstances and it endures everything [without weakening]. Love never fails - never fades out or becomes obsolete or comes to an end. Prayer Requests Hello... Thank you for the opportunity to send our prayer request to you... My father (age 73) has recently been diagnosed with prostate cancer and is due to have a complete bone/body scan done on 12/20, with an appt. a few days later to discuss treatment options. Although he has never been open to "natural" methods of healing or treatments (with many in the extended family being absolutely opposed to them, especially those who have been trained in the medial field) my mother and I are firm believers in the healing the Lord has made available through His Son and in the natural substances He has placed on this earth. My prayer request is that the Lord would touch my father's heart to receive the direction he should follow concerning treatment, and that in whatever is chosen, the Lord would protect him and bless the treatment to be successful as possible... with full recovery. I am trying to learn more of natural aids to healing, such as PC-spes, etc. in order to have suggestions of alternative treatments, but question whether the doctor and family influences that stress "only the medical way" will be too strong to give fair consideration (except for the Lord opening eyes and hearts).
