The key to all of the many different kinds of Arthritis is for the body to heal itself. Arthritis sufferers simply need to restore the body’s healing ability with natural nutritional supplements, diet and exercise. It works every time. The three most common forms of Arthritis are:
FIRST THINGS FIRST
Arthritis sufferers should first start on a good de-tox program. Many
find great relief simply by cleaning up the toxicity of the blood and liver
and cleansing systemic yeast deposits which have settled in the joints. Most
arthritis sufferers are really suffering from an extremely toxic body, which,
when cleaned up, will begin healing from the arthritis. All Arthritics should
start with products like the Nutrition 2000 Herbal Tea and
Rephe-Flora to
begin rebuilding the connective tissue around the joints, and the "Johanna
Budwig Regimen" of flax seed oil and cottage cheese (one dose is one
tablespoon of flax seed oil and 2 or 3 tablespoons of cottage cheese) to start
the healing process. Add an organic mineral product like Concen Trace mineral
drops and some pure gelatin and you have an excellent start to freedom from
arthritis. DIETARY CONSIDERATIONS Brewers Yeast added to mixtures of carrot & other green vegetable juices creates a perfect tonic to feed the cells, especially the cells of the blood, immune and lymph, according to Dr. Jacob Swilling, founder of the Genesis West Institute, the premier degenerative disease treatment center in the world today. The best way to transition to a mostly vegetarian diet is to eat a large salad as one meal every day. This salad should include a great variety of vegetables such as napa cabbage, spinach, celery, broccoli, carrot, leaf lettuce, cucumber, radish, etc, etc, but never any head lettuce. An excellent dressing for salads is the flax seed oil and cottage cheese. "Bragg" liquid aminos is also very tasty. For breakfast try cooking together (steamed is best) one cup of brown rice
& one cup of millet, with a little chopped almonds, sunflower seeds & sesame
seeds. The brown rice and millet forms a nearly perfect protein, with short
chain amino acids and no gluten. It digests easily and is very satisfying. Try
to find farm fresh goats milk and raw honey for a nearly perfect breakfast.
Frozen goats milk is second best, then fresh and unprocessed cows milk is good
for us. Rheumatiod Arthritis and Gout suffers should avoid citrus fruits,
because they promote swelling, and night shade vegetables (potatoes, tomatoes,
peppers, egg plant) because they contain psyllium and alkaloids. Other fruits
should be eaten whole and raw, between meals. A good idea is to drink two
glasses (4oz.) of black cherry juice and include parsley, broccoli and spinach
in the diet almost daily.
Green Superfoods provide concentrations of nutrients and phytochemicals (indoles from cruciferous vegetables, carotenoids from deep green vegetables) in their completely natural state for maximum utilization by our bodies to heal us when we are sick and then keep us well. The research bio-chemists are discovering that the phytochemicals in vegetables are more important to our health than the vitamins and minerals they contain and the very best sources for these phytochemicals are the orange, yellow and green vegetables and the cereal grasses and special vegetables like asparagus and spinach. Cruciferous vegetables act as life extenders,
The
vegetables in Healthy Mix Green, barley & wheat grass, spinach, broccoli,
cabbage and asparagus provide the best of the phytochemicals to renew the
strength and healing power of the body, preventing and
treating all forms of disease. They are a rich source of vitamin A, C,
riboflavin, niacin, calcium, magnesium, iron, sulfur, potassium, phosphorus
and chlorophyll. They are wonder foods for arthritis, osteoporosis and bone
loss disorders. Researchers claim they balance the calcium in the body and
reduce mucus. Cabbage kills bad bacteria and viruses, stimulates the immune
system, and is effective to treat rheumatism, gout and blood disorders.
The most important supplements are Nutrition 2000 Glucosamine Sulfate, Herbal Tea, Rephe-Flora (refer to the two pages on "friendly bacteria" in the free blue booklet from Nutrition 2000) and a good flax seed oil like Barleans with high lignans. The Healthy Mix products, especially Healthy Mix Green, are important because most arthritics are badly deficient in the basic nutrients of all "B" vitamins and Amino Acids. Pantothenic acid, Bromelain, C, E, K and Selenium are always deficient in
arthritics. Vitamin C is important to help build healthy connective tissue.
Ginger, cheyenne and cinnamon reduce inflammation; bromelain (pineapple) is a
strong anti-inflammatory. "New Choices in Natural Health" suggests 500 Mg of
Glucosamine Sulfate 3 times daily; 400 IU of E twice daily: For Rheumatoid,
250 Mg Zinc picolinate, 1 Mg Magnesium/Copper, and 2 or 3 caps of Bromelain 3
times daily.
Exercise. Do something. Walk, swim, stretch, bounce gently on a small
bouncer; do anything you can do to keep movement going in your body. When you
move you cause the lymph system to move and carry away toxins and if you will
keep toxins out of your effected joints the mobility of the joints will be
much greater. Exercise will also help reduce and control pain. So keep
exercise of some kind going every day.
One: Drink a small cup of the Herbal Tea along with 2 or 3 capsules of Rephe-Flora one half hour before breakfast. Two: Eat a breakfast of millet & brown rice with goats milk and raw honey and one boiled egg. Include some Healthy Mix Green. Three: Take supplements of glucosamine sulfate, pantothenic acid, bromelain, C, E, selenium, etc. Four: Take Flax seed oil & cottage cheese at least 2 or 3 times daily; more if severe arthritis. Five: Drink 3 or 4 six oz. Glasses of carrot & other juices 3 or 4 times daily with a heaping tablespoon of brewers yeast. Six: Eat a big salad for lunch with lots of Healthy Mix Green. Eat another boiled egg. Seven: More of the supplements after lunch, especially the glucosamine sulfate. Eight: Use 1 oz of Concentrace or equally good minerals and some pure gelatin at least twice daily. Nine: Do daily exercise of some kind: every day! Ten: Osteoarthritics should repeat the Nutrition 2000 Herbal Tea & Rephe-Flora a second time each day; Rheumatoid and Gout should repeat two or more times – total of three times daily for 3 to 6 weeks. Eleven: Water for drinking should include one oz of the organic minerals per eight oz. Of water. Twelve: Dinner eat lightly cooked or steamed vegetables and fish dishes with bass, crappie, trout, salmon, tuna, or other cold water fish. Thirteen: Avoid most meat like the plague; especially pork; and beef & chicken as found in stores (full of growth hormones & anti-biotics); avoid corn, soy & wheat products and other manufactured foods containing corn, wheat & soy; avoid citrus fruits; avoid all processed dairy products except cottage cheese & plain yogurt. Fourteen: Last but not least; expect to whip this thing, ask the Lord for strength, wisdom and His help. And if you want someone to pray with you, call the information number. 800-558-9697 (Morinda citrifolia) In a time when we are more concerned than ever with issues of health, NONI, a tried and true tropical herb needs to be added to our list of the best natural remedies. Its usage over hundreds of years supports its description as possessing a veritable panacea of therapeutic actions. Noni’s emergence as an effective natural healing agent is a timely one; herbs like noni are in high demand for their natural pharmaceutical properties in a time when cancer rates are soaring, degenerative diseases are widespread, and bacteria and viral strains are increasingly resistant to contemporary treatments. Unquestionably, all of us want to know how to:
Noni has the potential to boost the immune system, inhibit tumor growth, normalize physiological functions on a cellular level, and stimulate cell regeneration. Noni appears to have the ability to augment immune defenses, fight pain, reduce inflammation, and purge the intestinal system without the dangerous side effects of harsh drugs. Its impressive and widespread use among various native cultures of tropical island regions supports the theory that it possesses valuable, therapeutic compounds. Noni can be considered an antibacterial, analgesic, anticongestive, antioxidant, anticatarrhal, anti-inflammatory, astringent, emollient, emmenagogue, laxative, sedative, hypotensive (lowers blood pressure), blood purifier, and tonic. BODY SYSTEMS TARGETED MODERN APPLICATIONS OF NONI Noni possesses a wide variety of medicinal properties which originate from its differing plant components. The fruit and leaves of the shrub exert antibacterial activities. Its roots promote the expulsion of mucus and the shrinkage of swollen membranes making it an ideal therapeutic for nasal congestion, lung infections, and hemmoroids. Noni root compounds have also shown natural sedative properties as well as the ability to lower blood pressure, Leaf extracts are able to inhibit the formation of blood clots. Noni is particularly useful for its ability to treat painful joint conditions and to resolve skin inflammations. Many people take noni fruit extracts for hypertension, painful menstruation, arthritis, gastric ulcers, diabetes, and depression. Recent studies suggest that its anticancer activity should also be considered. Concerning the therapeutic potential of the Hawaiian noni fruit, Dr. Heinicke writes: I have seen the compound found in noni work wonders. When I was still investigating its possibilities, I had a friend who was a medical research scientist administer the proxeronine to a woman who had been comatose for three months. Two hours after receiving the compound, she sat up in bed and asked where she was….Noni is probably the best source of proxeronine that we have today. Studies and surveys combine to support the ability of noni to act as an immunostimulant, inhibit the growth of certain tumors, enhance and normalize cellular function and boost tissue regeneration. It is considered a powerful blood purifier and contributor to overall homeostasis. The phytonutrients found in noni assist in promoting cell nourishment and protection from free radicals created by exposure to pollution and other potentially damaging agents. In addition, Morinda citrifolia contains selenium, one of the best antioxidant compounds available. DIABETESWhile scientific studies are lacking in this particualar application of noni, Hawaiians used various parts of the plant and its fruit to treat blood sugar disorders. Anecdotal surveys have found that noni is currently recommended for anyone with diabetes. PAIN KILLER A 1990 study found that extracts derived from the Morinda citrifolia root have the ability to kill pain in animal experiments. Interestingly, it was during this study that the natural sedative action of the root was also noted. This study involved a French team of scientists who noted a significant central analgesic activity in laboratory mice. Dr. Heinicke has stated, "Xeronine also acts as a pain reliever. A man with very advanced intestinal cancer was given three months to live. He began taking the proxeronine and lived for a whole year, pain-free." SKIN HEALING AGENT One of the most prevalent historical uses of noni was in poultice form for cuts, wounds, abrasions, burns and bruises. Using its fruit extract for very serious burns has resulted in some extraordinary healing. Because skin is comprised of protein, it immediately responds to the presence of xeronine. When the skin is broken of traumatized, proxeronine enters the afftected region from surrounding areas, and xeronine synthesis subsequently rises, enhancing healing and tissue regeneration. Burns are especially vulnerable to this biochemical process. Consequently, boosting xeronine production within a burn site through the direct application of a noni poulticeis considered quite effective by Dr. Heinicke and his colleagues, who have studied enzymatic therapy. Concerning burns, he has written: I believe that each tissue has cells which contain proteins which have receptor sites for the absorption of xeronine. Certain of these proteins are the inert forms of enzymes which require absorbed xeronine to become active, This xeronine, by converting the body’s procollangenase system into a specific protease, quickly and safely removes the dead tissue from burns.
